Machined aluminum baskets will withstand high horsepower & torque conditions and deliver a major performance improvement over stock. These baskets feature a replaceable ring gears, sprockets and drive-dogs (’36 to E’84) for improved serviceability.

Our Sportster Complete Clutch Basket Assemblies combine our top quality Billet Clutch Baskets as well as our High Performance Clutch Kits. Available in either Stage-1 or Diaphragm style these are the best kits on the market! Our Clutch Baskets are Machined from 7075 Aluminum and have replaceable starter ring gears. Choose a Diaphragm Style Clutch for a Low to Mid Horsepower Daily Rider or a Stage-1 Coil Spring Clutch for Medium to High Horsepower setups. All Stage-1 Sportster clutches come with Green springs. Diaphragm style clutches come with a Light and Heavy Duty Clutch Spring. Our Baskets have a replaceable Ring Gear so you can get years of service without having to replace the basket. Note **After-market clutch levers may cause issues with adjustment on hydraulic & cable clutches due to the lever changing the pull ratio. **

All Baskets come assembled with Blue *Medium* Coil springs. ** NOTE – One piece clutch cable or auto adjust delete is recommended for all M8 models. ** **After-market clutch levers may cause issues with adjustment on hydraulic & cable clutches due to the lever changing the pull ratio. ** Drive hub lock tool part number 2835-0083 is highly suggested to properly torque the main shaft nut.

**NOTE: 49 Tooth Baskets – Changing your primary gearing will affect cruise control operation, speedometer calibration and indicator light functions on most models. To correct this you will need a “tattoo” style ECM tuner such as DynoJet Powervision, TTS Mastertune, V&H Fuelpack 3 or a ThunderMax ECM. “Piggy-back” tuners will not work, nor will the Harley-Davidson Race/Super Tuner. Please contact the manufacturer of your tuner for the proper settings needed for your particular model and gearing change.

Complete Black-Ops Clutch Basket Assembly – MTC Engineering Gen II Hat not Included

This new clutch is called the “Gen II Multistage Clutch”. This clutch significantly reduces clutch lever efforts and yet improves adjustability through its “multistage” technology. The new design runs on engine RPM, and demonstrates a quicker reaction time and more repeatability between passes. In addition, it also allows for easier dynamic spring replacement with its quick access cover plate over the springs. *Will Require Outer Primary Cover Modification or Replacement. You can purchase the Hat directly from MTC and arrange to have your clutch basket drop shipped to them so they can install the Hat for you.
